Valley Landscape Service (“we,” “us”) operates valleylandscapeservice.com. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to this website only.
Information you give us
The only information we collect directly is what you type into the contact and estimate request form on this site. That form asks for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your website, if you choose to enter one
- The message you write us
We use that information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if it leads to work, to communicate with you about that work. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing.
Form submissions are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us tell real inquiries from automated spam. Google’s use of information collected through reCAPTCHA is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use it, such as which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device they are on. This is reported to us in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we have not enabled advertising or remarketing features.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and browser information, as a normal part of running and securing a website.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them for analytics as described above, and WordPress may set functional cookies if you leave a comment or log in to an account. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
How long we keep things
Inquiries sent through the contact form are kept in our email and business records for as long as we may reasonably need them for the customer relationship or for our own records. Analytics data is retained according to the setting in our Google Analytics property. If you would like us to delete an inquiry you sent, ask and we will.
Third parties
The services that touch information from this site are our web host, Google Analytics, and Google reCAPTCHA. We do not sell personal information to anyone. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can browse this site without giving us any personal information. If you have contacted us and want to know what we hold, want it corrected, or want it deleted, email info@vlsjh.com or call (307) 733-1588 and we will take care of it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other sites
This site links out to other websites, including the Jackson Hole Clean Water Coalition and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not run.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
