What makes a Jackson Hole lawn different from a lawn anywhere else?
Elevation and season length. The valley floor sits near 6,200 feet, the growing season is short and intense, and frost is possible in almost any month. A program copied from a milder climate asks the turf to do things it does not have time to do here.
What does Trout Friendly certified mean?
Valley Landscape Service has been certified through the Jackson Hole Clean Water Coalition since 2020. Every lawn in this valley drains into the Snake River watershed, so the certification governs how fertilizer and weed control get applied: measured rates matched to the site, and targeted treatment rather than blanket spraying.
Do you handle the irrigation too?
Yes. Lawn care and irrigation run together, which matters because most turf problems here turn out to be water problems. Startup, in-season tuning, repairs and fall blowout are all handled by the same company.
